Prince Nymph
Prince Nymph
KipTail as a streamer tail - what do you think?
I came up with a pattern - a long shank prince nymph that I used brown kip tail as the tail ( instead of biots) and white bucktail on the back instead of biots - it works great, but I never saw in any of the pattern books I have or anywhere else the use of kip tail as a tail -
what do you guys think ?
I have to admit i haven't seen it anywhere but i decided to tie a few up just after reading this and im impressed with the results!
It definitely looks "fishy" now its just finding the time to try it out on those browns
now all you have to do is think of a name for it pheasant.

Tank Daniels never knew existed, and probably would not if he had a brother-sister was born and grew up in Malad, Idaho. Fortunately for me that I do. Always had bragged how he and his brothers for a few hours a night and killing 20-inch + Rainbow cast after cast. Finally, I made its offer and head north-west of Malad in a place that ranks in my top 5 fishing lakes, Daniels Dam.
Daniels Reservoir is about 17 miles northwest of Malad City, Idaho. Exit at the junction of Great Malad off I-15 and proceed through town until you reach the T in the road in the heart of Malad City. Turn right and Bannock San step of the way (left / right) until you are in Elkhorn Daniels RD. 30 minutes later were stacked in a small tank with Rainbow trophy.
I have had more success and we have heard from local experts, to the northeast corner of the reserve is the best place to fish. There is a small stream that enters Daniels Reservoir at the center point in the north lake itself. This current creates a path through the thick bushes that is perfect for the rowboat or pontoon float tube through which configure my stick to snuff. After defeating Woolly Buggers and leeches along the weed, I like to change the poles of the floating line with nypmhing launch Prince Nymph and a hare's ear. Launching the package, near the sides of the brush allows large arches to study at their own pace and pound the tasty established.
In general, Daniels ranks as one of my favorites more dams to catch 20 + inch bows constantly. Although I had most of my success in this area at the north end of the lake, I also took trophies arc all sections of the lake.
