Going on 12 weeks, when will my morning sickness go away.?

My midwife said it should start tapering off at week 12 and be completely gone by 14-16 weeks, but I keep getting contradictory information on the web?

Does anyone know how common morning sickness past the first trimester really is? I am very anxious, because if it doesn't go away soon, I am really going to have to consider quitting my job before I get FIRED for bad performance.
