Eastern Brook Trout?

I'm headed up to the White Mountains in New Hampshire next week for vacation, I'll be fishing in the Pemigewassit River amongst some other places. Apparently there is a healthy population of Brook Trout up there. I've never fished for Brookies before, and was wondering if anyone could offer up any tips on how to land some of these pretty fish. I have both spinning and fly fishing equipment.

Since I flyfish, I'll try to give some pointers.

Even though they may spook easily, brookies are generally suckers for a well placed fly and seem to be enticed by colorful patterns. Try casting a royal coachman, adams,
Au-Sable Wulff dries or swinging Mickey Finn streamers
past likely holding areas such as undercut banks, blowdowns, corner pools and deep runs.

when working the stream, be cautious and quiet and when arriving at a spot to cast, rest the area for a few minutes
before casting.

a small flyrod such a a 7' 4 wt would be ideal.
