The talk about the smash hit Aion is sweeping the nation. Known in Korea as Aion: The Tower of Eternity - we will be seeing the upcoming release simply titled "Aion". With the official U.S. debut creeping up on September 22nd, more and more individuals are scouting the net for more information and insight to the game along with tips and tricks to get a jump start on the action.
Tips for Addons: If you're looking to cheat on the game, don't bother - they (thankfully) have an in-game launcher that targets unapproved add-ons which could result in a ban of your account. After playing in the beta, I can honestly say that the graphics are very nice (better than World of WarCraft in my personal opinion). Complimenting the great graphics are completely customizable characters, making it a lot of creative fun to build your own unique character.
Tips for Earning Quick Money: When the game launches, if you're looking to turn some quick spending funds - put up a personal store in town with lowbie greens and any other junk you can come across (not greys). Therefore, it's an optimal opportunity to sell off the junk that months from now will be worth nothing.
Tips to complete quests and travel faster: If you're planning to play this game hardcore, then I definitely recommend you pre-order the Collector's Edition. While some of the bonus items are only useful at lower levels, they have bonus XP specs which can aid in leveling up faster. There is also a "must-have" attribute for when you get your wings - you will get additional flight time that others who do not pre-order the CE won't have. This might not seem like much...but having the ability to fly farther and thus, save time from quest to quest will be very beneficial in the long run.
Tips for choosing your sub-class: For those wanting to ensure they choose the correct "path" at level 10, I advise to research online. Unless they update this aspect before the launch , the explanations in-game are difficult to interpret and don't give a good idea of what you will actually be choosing in terms of how each class will play.
Overall (and I'm sure some will debate this) Aion will definitely rival WoW in my opinion. Although WoW is by far more established and has a solid following, Aion will break through the gaming market with a very popular launch. It has many aspects of WoW, but with its own creative twists and originality. I highly recommend checking this game out in September for those looking for a completely awesome new MMORPG.
